Who: Akito & A-T & Anyone
When: Day 26, midday
Where: Just outside the safe-zones, in a mostly-cleared area.
What: Training! and also keeping an eye out for things he can kill for the Meat Day he's planning 'u'

[ Akito is adjusting to the changes he's received as a Challenger, practicing routine A-T skills by dodging A-T's random 'Ember' attacks. He's using this opportunity to practice his knife skills as well, aiming for specific targets while dodging and defying gravity in an aerial dance. Most of his knives are small and made of bone - made specifically for practice and throwing - but he has two good hunting knives he keeps a rope of fabric attached to. Akito has his knives like Agito had his hooks, and intends to master how to use them.

For those who have seen him fight before, they might notice that he seems more comfortable in his movements; smoother and more natural. Every so often he falters, however, rubbing at his right eye and mumbling to himself before starting up again. ]

[Leiko is immediately fascinated with A-T as soon as she sees her, and transforms into her little form. She bounds up and barks playfully at A-T. CAN WE BE FRIENDS?]

[A-T is curious, but flicks her tail in annoyance. This isn't the time to play - she has training to do and a trainer to help. She shoots another Ember at Akito, and he twists in mid-air to dodge.]

[A small knife lodges itself in the ground between A-T and Leiko, and Akito lands on the ground nearby.]

A-T, you can go play if you want to.

[It looks like you two were playing to Leiko. She bats at the knife happily, then turns and approximates a bow to Akito.]

[Akito offers a small wave, and A-T shoots Leiko an irritated look. Why is this strange other-fox acting so familiar with her trainer?]

[Why are you so grouchy? I just want to be friends with you, other firebeast. Leiko whimpers a little, lowering her head in deference to the other.]

[Well, she'll accept that. And go over to rub all up against Akito's legs just to make sure things are clear. :|]

[No no I do not want your trainer's love. Friendship, yes, but no more than that. I'll be over here licking my paws waiting for you to finish declaring your territory.]

A-T...

[whines gently]

[Come on, be my friend!]

[...Reluctantly goes over to sniff Leiko.]

[Lowers her head deferentially and lets A-T sniff.]

[Moves away from her after a moment, then sits near Akito's feet and stares at her. Tail wags... But only a little. :|a]

[Follows her over, tails wagging. She waits patiently for a moment, then barks encouragingly. Come on, play!]

Go on, A-T -- you can play if you want to. I can train by myself.

[She still seems reluctant, and it takes Akito nudging her with his foot to get her to dart away with a Quick Attack and into the safe-zone to play Hide and Seek. '-'b

To Leiko:]

If you let her get hurt, I'll skin you.

[Leiko 'bows' to him in acknowledgement, then bounds off to chase after A-T.]

[He'll watch her go, then return to training. 'u']
