[Her whole body ignites in flames, and the fireball grows to five feet tall in a matter of seconds. There's no heat, though. And just as suddenly, it burns out again. In place of the fox is a woman in an ornate junihitoe, with many of the layers being a deep, blood red. She nods politely to him.]

That's the nature of life, I suppose. I didn't finish what I wanted to do, either. But I'd been trying for five hundred years...I think I should accept it wouldn't get done.
