[Treebird seems to have regained his humanoid form, even devoid of antlers of any sort. He's been staying pretty scarce after his run-in with Thusia in his basest form, and is currently leaning against one of the hallway walls near Apartment Sparkles, running his hands thoughtfully over a length of sturdy branch he apparently has brought in from Nature.

Why do you hide your ears and tails?

Um-- I-it's just-- humans ask less questions, and I've been doing it so long now it's a habit...

Ah, you interact with enough humans that it's worth the effort to do that?

My audience is almost always completely human... a-and my job is in a pretty heavily populated city.

But, um, I don't mind. Mother taught me well.

I, um... I perform, for a circus, of sorts, called Cirque du Majestico. We're reasonably popular, at home... We do things like tightrope, and trapeze, and dancing, and other things like that.

Wow! What do you do?

Um-- trapeze and trampoline and tightrope, but mostly illusions if my act can handle them.

You're pretty skilled with illusions. Your mother taught you well.

What I've seen of your illusions has been at LEAST equal to that of kitsune I've known.

Imayou is... very kind. She was going through a hard time when we met, and not taking it well at all, but she got through it with some help. But even while she had her own troubles, she took the time to worry about others. Even with all that anger, she made it through, and moved past it.
