[ Yup but it's way on the other side of the snake; this is a lot of snake to deal with. ]

[welp. this is a long shot, but it's the only idea he has right now. takes careful aim at what he can see of the snake's head and fires.]

[ You manage to get it in the eye, which surprises the snake enough to loosen its grip on him, briefly. But boy is it starting to madly flail around. ]

[new plan: get out of here before the flailing coils really screw him up. he puts as much weight on his broken ankle as the limb will physically let him, doing his best to ignore the massive amounts of pain involved. hobbling away as fast as he can.]

[ A few times the snake's tail lashes in his direction, hard enough to bruise, but keep up your mad escape and you'll manage to get out of the room. ]

[ ... Now to just get through the rest of the jungle and back to civilization... ]

this is a slow, terrible, and painful process that is going to take right up until whatever post Watson ends up in next. unless I annoy someone into helping him back.]
