Who: Climber and Clarice and all the people
When: Day 23, morning
Where: Everywhere
What: Apartment hunting
[Since Clarice is not too keen to spend every night hoboing in the hallways, her and Muppet are now on the hunt for a permanent place of residence. Knock knock any room in here?]

...And fire.

[This one was definitely full of a lot more hatred and anger than there had been before and her hand actually moved to Climber's pickaxe, as much as she acted on the impulse to try and smash Karl's face in before stopping herself from moving forward.]
That's not a convincing argument, Karl.

No? Then how about this one.
We're dead. We're all dead. Gone, finished, kaput. There is no going back to the world we once knew. It's over.
Sooooo, we can either keep things the same as they were back home...
OR
We can put it behind us for now. Truth is, not everyone here is safe. Some even more dangerous than me. And I've seen them. We don't all want to go dying again, do we?
I say we work together. I don't need anything but something to do. So! If you don't want to go killing things or relying on other people, I can help. I do want to change. I want to have friends. But since neither of you want that, I'm trying for something easier. I just want a truce. That's all. Is that so much to ask for?

H-Hey! Both of you, stop, this... I-I want to not fight too, both of you are saying that but you're acting like this- Clarice, letting what Karl says bother you isn't like you, and, Karl, what you're saying is good b-but you're saying it in a really mean way, and I told you... I told you I'd give you that chance, and I want you to have friends too, even if they're not us, but I also told you we can't trust you right away. That takes time, and I really don't want things killed to 'help' me.

[But at least she did move her hand away from reaching for the pickaxe, even if the glare doesn't waver.]
Using C-Muppet's fear to get a reaction out of him isn't a 'friendly' thing to do. And if it's supposed to be a threat, you should know I'll be more than willing to try to smash your face in to protect him.
Muppet is my friend. Friends protect and help each other. Friends can trust each other to watch each others backs and can give some respect to their friends strong ideals, even if they don't necessarily agree.
That's the only reason I don't tell everyone you're a murdering psychopath. Because for whatever insane reason, Muppet decided to give you a chance and he's pretty firm about it for him. You really want to change? Then use the chance Muppet got you and prove it instead of just talking about it.

Alright then. I'll prove it. No more killing animals. What do you say next time we go gather, we do it together and I won't kill a single thing. I will even leave Arma behind.
How about it?

[There is a looooong silence. Ranging on well over a minute.]
Fine.

I'm sorry. [Reaches up and pokes his forehead.] Even I can be a bit stupid sometimes, when I'm worried.

What are you so worried for, Clarice? It's really different from how you were in the park.
