I have a few questions, if you do not mind. About this place and why we are here.

This world has been overrun, our people's are.... lost. We wish for you to help us reclaim and rebuild. It will be your world as well, now.

Plants and beasts.

And there is... no one left of this world at all?

Th-that is... [voice cracking a little] ...difficult for me to say. But certainly too few for me to find, and none who still pray to me.

As... we have nothing else to concern ourselves with any longer, I see no reason to refuse to provide you with assistance. May I ask what provisions we will be provided with, and how we may go about acquiring more?

Yes, of course. What we can provide you with freely, we have. In exchange for what we can provide you, you need offer sacrifices to us. We each accept different things, depending on our nature. For me... certain parts of beasts, or what you can do for another, to comfort and help and protect. In exchange I will make sure you have all the water you need, and I can make items from glass. I can also heal larger injuries on humans.

'Each'? There are more like you then?

Three others, for now. The rest... I believe you can find them, in time. Or perhaps they will wander back.

To... trade you for things. How do we go about that?

Items to be sacrificed you may rest on my shrine, and sprinkle them with the water from the bowl. If it is an action, or interaction, say my name and your offering before or during the act. I cannot reward you for what I was there to witness.

Then we request what it is we would like?

Yes, but what we can offer, much as what we will accept, has limits. My domains are water, glass, and human creation and protection. So it is I who provides the water for your sinks and shower, and I can make you items of glass, and I can heal wounds on a human, to an extent. But of course the cost for these will depend on what you wish.

An equal exchange. That seems reasonable.
