Where: Apartment O and the hall nearby
What: this looks unsafe...

[there are a lot of stray materials, wood and bits of plants spread out on the floor in the hall along with several frogs in a very crudely made cage of twigs. Blaze is just sitting and staring at the mess around him]

I don't think I want to find out how flammable those frogs are...

No idea, but the concept goes that we 'trade' for stuff. That gives us an opening for bargaining.

Guns would be better if we're heading through danger to get to the apartment.

No, a gun would be better use. Better to take something down further away from you than up close.

... By the way, what's with Aegis? She's been hanging around a lot.

She can't go further than a few feet. And she can't dematerialize either.

[ Crouching down to give her pettings. ]

That's strange. Was it because of what happened?

[Aegis flops at Cayden's feet to milk all the sympathy she can get]

Seems like it's something about this place. She tried heading out earlier to explore the dangerous parts dematerialized and couldn't get past the door unless I went with her.

Guess you're stuck with us Aegis. At least most people don't seem to really mind her... which is weird in itself.

[She just huffs and pats at Cayden with her oversized paws]

They're more excited by having her around than bothered. You'd think their self preservation would kick in.
