Well, I don't know what a Netherworld is, b-but we're relying on the gods for lots of things. L-Like, all the food is poisonous without them purifying it, y-your sardines would only make you sick. And, we need things like beds, a-and for them to purify the doors, and thread. Besides, o-our powers are weaker here.
