[So those of you unaffected are probably going about your day pretty normally, other than the sense of buzzing and liveliness in the air. At this point most of the 3rd level's indoor plant-life has gotten a weird boost but the pace of growing is slowing down again. The effects seem to be.. drifting downward toward level 2 and level 1 instead.

However, quite a few of those who are affected will find that their condition is worsening, possibly in rather alarming ways.]


((ooc: I (ceesoo) will be running out to a movie soon but I will definitely work on threading effects tonight and all day tomorrow o7! Karri will also be here to run some escalation this evening as well. PEOPLE WHO ARE AFFECTED BY FAR-SEEING MUSHI, I AM CLAIMING YOU GUYS so you may not get a response while I'm out but I WILL DO THIS THING AS SOON AS I'M BACK. [They really sting any time she tries to look at normal light. Like headstabbingly painful, in fact...]

[The dark seems to help at least. Other than the residual throbbing from her attempts to see, it doesn't hurt as much when her eyes are closed.]

[Yes, perhaps it be... But yes, DARK APPARENTLY = BETTER for you. The sting starts to go away a bit as she keeps her eyes shut.]

[so what if she opens them again and tries not to close them, despite the pain? THIS IS A GOOD DECISION RIGHT.]

[Well luckily the sun is setting so she doesn't immediately drop from the pain, but even just the ambient lighting from the lights around the HQ is enough to blind her so that it's pretty useless to keep her eyes open anyway]

[If she settles and keeps her eyes closed a while, there may be a flicker of that light from before.]

[At least looking at this light that exists behind your closed eyes doesn't seem to be causing the pain that normal light does. It's strange since all you can see like this is the light in the floor below your feet and everything else is darkness]

[trying to focus on the darkness instead, for all that it makes her shiver and hunch in on herself. dark, dark, so dark . . .]

[If she focuses on the darkness long enough she will go back only seeing the normal, subtle patterns of vision that the mind makes when one's eyes are closed]

[Trying not to focus on something often makes it harder to ignore. Still, she tries, thinking instead of birds and feathers and sunlit skies-]

[If she hasn't truly let go of seeing that light then it's still there, flowing serenely, beautiful in the way that most natural things are beautiful]
