[With the rain still pouring on and off all day, new arrivals will have to stick to touring the HQ. At least there's still some excitement to be had, what with all the lizagons returning to roost to avoid the rain. Try not to annoy them when you make your way down to Level 1]

We never had anything similar. All the priests did not last. They must have waited 'til naught was left to place their twist on that name.

They must have. We also lived under peril of being eaten by the Guardian who lived beneath the barracks we lived in under the Arena if we performed poorly too frequently.

Mm. Though originally, the set up was different. Just a group of people expected to do work. Apparently they had been too lazy, however, so King restructured it. Three teams of six--Uroboros, gold. Caduceus, silver. Uraeus, copper. The top tier received the best of comforts--the lowest tier, only a step above the poor colored blanks.

They used to awaken in their rooms as well, but that changed. I was the first to wake in the Guardian's serpentine coils, made to swear my oath of fealty or be eaten whole.

I was also the first to take on a patron--the colored blanks teams were able to do so and gain favors, so why would an Ophiuchus not? Little did I know that had been their original role.
