[ He jumps visibly, grabbing his mouth. He just about lost it. One step back. Then two. Adults can be a little terrifying.

He swallows and scrambles with his arms, doing something between clutching his chest and performing a military salute, his fist pressed to his heart. He only manages to look half at attention.

Those clothes are unfamiliar. They... look really nice. Right. Right. He's NOT in Hellywood. ]

[He raises an eyebrow just slightly at that reaction. Really? He doesn't think he's that imposing.]

I know. It's... fine. I had no place to call home, anymore, anyway. It turns out that that place was just a world for me to live in. Nothing more. It doesn't make a difference if I'm here or there.

A harsh one, though less so lately than it has been. The deities of this place bring the dead from other dimensions and timelines in order to reclaim the world from nature. It's very slow going.
