[AND MEANWHILE, in an manner comically similar to his first foray into the afterlife, a merpire stumbles rather ungracefully out of Pi-Lambda, hand braced against a wall for support and dripping wet from head to toe. He looks entirely put out, but... he at least has clothes on this time......]

I would remind you that you've barred me from speaking of those that are my own already.

And yet, somehow, even that was more palatable to this.

Very little about me is palatable to either of you.

[Finishes his own cup, setting it down on the tray beside Tide's.]

If you've something else on your mind, there is no sense in holding your tongue.

There is a great deal of sense in not further broaching topics that have already been deemed sensitive.

There is always the option of isolating what that reason is and expunging it.

If you are vexed by me thinking about things you are going to spend a considerable amount of time in poor spirits.

[But that doesn't address how the reason for the problem is itself a problem and you know it and also fuck you.]

I am always in poor spirits.

And there is a difference between thinking about something and dwelling on something.
