There are no vampires in my home world. Homunculus and monsters and wizards and mad scientists. But no vampires.

There were never vampires.

Look, I've been to other worlds besides my own before. They're all different. In mine there's magic for a price. People who can use it suffer effects like losing memories or aging rapidly.

In another world I've been to people can't use magic at all but there are creatures called mushi. A sort of spirit creature that can have magic-like effects.

Neither of those worlds had vampires.

In a third world I've been to, there were vampires and zombies and I've heard there was even a werewolf once. ...he ate the little shop kid.

The sooner you open up to the idea that nothing works the way you'd expect it the better. No vampires, no magic with a price. Whole new game.
