[Out on the plains today the mammoth-sized bison are grazing calmly as usual far away from everything.

Well at least they were until a series of thirteen large explosions in a semi-circle around them send them stampeding towards the headquarters. Have fun with that. Senji is. Laughing hysterically on top of one of the stampeding beasts.

[THERE IS THE ALARMING SOUND OF LOW THUNDERING TRAVELING THROUGH THE GROUND, which is soon joined by the bellowing groans of the alarmed beasts. The HQ vibrates with the ground as it trembles--then it starts to shake, as one after another, they ram into the HQ, trampling around the building to escape the explosions, stomping things in their wake. Whatever rainforest growth managed to take hold near the ground or within reach of their horns is probably getting torn up and flattened.]

[guess who is now safely under several feet of earth and tunneling away from the sound of hoofbeats because screw stupid land-bison?]

[given Toph is rather in a hurry and trying to keep some airflow down in her tunnels as she moves, guess who is now making the ground near HQ even more treacherous, given loose, moving earth and the occasional air tunnel?]

[The trampling herd is really deafening, and as they pass overhead some parts of the tunnel that she isn't supporting probably start to shake and collapse a bit from the vibration.

She can probably feel little gopher-creatures also scrambling around to get to their deeper tunnels.]
