[Today in the shrine room, an androgynous person in their late teens sits up with a gasp and immediately begins, well, mumbling to themself. You can pick up things like 'gone' and 'really' and 'alive?' and 'candy wrappers'.

Though if you come close their red eyes will quickly and nervously flick to meet yours.]

...There's not too much to say. I hunt demons and Luka helps me. We took on more than we could chew. It was bound to happen some day.

...basically most people don't know demons exist, so they can really mess with other people's lives. If they choose to.

If necessary. I prefer it when people back down easily or leave others alone, but... my brother was driven insane by one once. He ended up dying. I just don't want other people to end up the same way. Don't get me wrong, if anyone knows, I do -- I know not all demons are going to be causing stuff like that but... the ones who do, it's not like most people know enough to stop them.
