What: Studying residents and asking questions
[So, a young man in casual clothes with a deep royal-purple kimono draped over his shoulders is loitering around today near the fountain or between the stairs-now-with-elevators and the shrine area, watching people come and go.
Once in a while he'll ask a question, just kinda out loud to whoever in the area is listening, or directly to whoever's passing by.]
Yo~! In the interest of challenging yourself and your beliefs a little, tell me about what you think of being here. Like how you feel about the circumstances of being brought here or living a new life, that sort of thing.

If you're so determined not to get near anyone why even bother being helpful? And if you decide to be helpful anyway, why bother pretending you're such an asshole that people should ignore you right after? Unless you just think that's how things should be. Some sort of double standard?

Well, Toki and that Hyottoko like you, and you're interesting enough, so you're not entirely off the radar, but I think they've got "attachment" covered, so you don't need to worry about that from me. Just try not to do anything else that could be construed as helpful or kind, I guess.
