[So, a young man in casual clothes with a deep royal-purple kimono draped over his shoulders is loitering around today near the fountain or between the stairs-now-with-elevators and the shrine area, watching people come and go.

Once in a while he'll ask a question, just kinda out loud to whoever in the area is listening, or directly to whoever's passing by.]

Yo~! In the interest of challenging yourself and your beliefs a little, tell me about what you think of being here. Like how you feel about the circumstances of being brought here or living a new life, that sort of thing.

[Serious conversations can involve hair ruffles. There is no rule against them!]

Well I think the new location is a good start. Fresh air, sunshine, water, less death. I mean, it's been nicer -- and I use the term loosely -- ever since we cleared headquarters of the more dangerous creatures.

Once we aren't fighting for our lives, it'll probably be easier to tackle problems look hooking up headquarters to fly off into outer space. Or changing gods or afterlives or blah blah blah.

I don't think figuring out a way to pull specific people is too much of a stretch of the imagination either. Though that's a more touchy solution.

Why specific people?

Because I think the root of a lot of people's unhappiness here is that they think they aren't going to see a near and dear loved one again.

Fix that, and I think a lot less people would be less grumpy with the god populace.

If they were able to go as far as to choose... Wouldn't it be better to just ask for permission in the first place?

Yeah. Permission would be the best route.

But I haven't heard of any divine being ever being that courteous. Not in my home world. Not in Sabra. And not here.

Actually, to be honest, I'm worries about the god situation in general here, yeah. They keep just-- [Vague hand gesture] disappearing.
