[Maybe you have gotten used to the regular hum of the HQ's engines as it flies slowly over a rippling canopy. Maybe you even find their sound soothing as you drift off tonight... Or maybe you don't drift off at all, maybe wherever you are, whatever you were doing, you just find yourself inexplicably sleepy.

Whatever it is, you end up in dreams. Your dreams? Or someone else's? It's hard to say.]

((OOC: DREAM POST!

For those of you who have never participated in a dream post, everyone interested in running a character's dream posts a top level comment and people comment to that to be in that character's dream. There are basically no rules about how it works! Be a lucid dreamer, don't be, figure it out halfway through, push and pull between who controls the dream. w/e have fun! If you need an OOC excuse to be asleep you can totally assume Rew's power just made your character unreasonably tired at some point. Solitary dreamers will find ocean waters rising in and drowning out their dreams, but Rew won't be making any appearances in this post.))

[There's no one there.]

[BUT, two hands land heavily on Subaru's shoulders when he turns around at the sound of the whispers, fingers digging into his shoulder blades and ragged breath hitting the back of his neck. There's suddenly a feeling of great hostility, a dark presence.]

[Sensing the danger he freezes in place, though one hand goes for the ofuda in his coat.]

What do you want?

[The voice is a dual tone of both man and woman, both very strong and booming voices.]

You...as Our vessel.

[On the other side of the room, there's a door that hadn't been there before. Subaru should catch a glimpse of his sister peeking into the room before she's gone, running down the long hall on the other side and fading into the darkness.

Follow, or face Wander?]

[He can't tell if it's true or an illusion. Subaru wants to follow, but also he can't leave something dangerous behind.]

Vessel? And if I refuse?

[He leaps forward, hoping to leave the touch behind and to turn to face whatever it is.]

[Wander lets him go, hunched forward and still scowling at Subaru. There's a suffocating feeling, heavy on your heart from just looking at Wander.]

You can not.

[His sister's voice can be heard trying to call him away, begging. But Wander doesn't intend to let that happen, it seems. Shadowy tendrils from all around the room start to advance on Subaru.]

[The weight in his heart is heavy, hooking into his will. Hokuto-chan...]

[But as an onmyouji, Subaru has seen much in his life - ghosts, possessions, monsters. He lets loose a handful of ofuda, which attack the shadows as a flock of birds.]

[The shadows engulf the birds, tendrils wrapping around them until they seem to disappear.

Then they head right for Subaru again!

A faint, mocking laughter can be heard.]
