[Maybe you have gotten used to the regular hum of the HQ's engines as it flies slowly over a rippling canopy. Maybe you even find their sound soothing as you drift off tonight... Or maybe you don't drift off at all, maybe wherever you are, whatever you were doing, you just find yourself inexplicably sleepy.

Whatever it is, you end up in dreams. Your dreams? Or someone else's? It's hard to say.]

For those of you who have never participated in a dream post, everyone interested in running a character's dream posts a top level comment and people comment to that to be in that character's dream. There are basically no rules about how it works! Be a lucid dreamer, don't be, figure it out halfway through, push and pull between who controls the dream. w/e have fun! If you need an OOC excuse to be asleep you can totally assume Rew's power just made your character unreasonably tired at some point. Solitary dreamers will find ocean waters rising in and drowning out their dreams, but Rew won't be making any appearances in this post.))

[FLINGS HERSELF BODILY OFF THE ROOF]

[Climbs down the side of the building as fast as he can]

[JAMMING HERSELF INTO ITS RIBCAGE, SCYTHES STRETCHING OUT IN EITHER DIRECTION FROM HER ARM]

[A-Alma...]

[Hops down somewhere next to her, using a dagger to slice through the vines and other various plant-y appendages (that she hasn't already decimated) to get closer to the Kanda inside]

[straining against the pressure of it trying to close down on her]

[meanwhile it's roaring and rocking and trying to throw them BOTH off]

[Whatever, giant vine beast. Whatever. We come with the power of love, friendship, and being extremely pissed that nature things keep trying to take our nice (relatively speaking) things]

[Which translates to trying to stab and cut at it faster before it a) they get thrown off or b) they join Kanda in the beast's belly]

[You're getting there! It's going not too horribly?

That said, the beast has just started to charge its lasers.]

[THIS THING HAS LASERS!?]

[Well glowing points are forming on several parts of its body, anyway]

[STABS FASTER]

[You've torn through! It lets out a roar and bucks]

[ALMA YELPS]

[Looks up while trying to grab a hold of Kanda]

Alma! Get out of there!

Not until you're safe!

Alma...

Okay! OKAY! I almost have him!

[Wraps an arm around Kanda and tries to yank him out]

[You have a Kanda! The thusiamonster starts letting out a dark cloud of something from its lasercharged nodes]

[That doesn't look ominous. NOT AT ALL]

[Tossing Kanda over one shoulder and trying to slip back closer to the building (and dodging the cloud)]

I got him! Get out of there!

[hits the ground rolling, with a yelp]

[Dodge rolling around the building, hoping that it will provide some sort of protection against... whatever is coming]

[staggering after, clutching her arm, just as it lets out a huge purple cloud of smoke, rolling forward...]

[Grabs for her arm, wrist, WHATEVER and tries to pull her behind the building]

[dragged, with a choked cry; her arm's showing a few cracks]

[No nononono why are you cracking]

[Tossing/semi-propping Kanda up against the building so he can put himself in between Alma and the cloud of smoke]
