Or maybe you don't drift off at all, maybe wherever you are, whatever you were doing, you just find yourself inexplicably sleepy.

Whatever it is, you end up in dreams. Your dreams? Or someone else's? It's hard to say.]



((OOC: DREAM POST!

For those of you who have never participated in a dream post, everyone interested in running a character's dream posts a top level comment and people comment to that to be in that character's dream. There are basically no rules about how it works! Be a lucid dreamer, don't be, figure it out halfway through, push and pull between who controls the dream. w/e have fun! If you need an OOC excuse to be asleep you can totally assume Rew's power just made your character unreasonably tired at some point. Solitary dreamers will find ocean waters rising in and drowning out their dreams, but Rew won't be making any appearances in this post.))

but when he gets close enough, the light turns out to be a doorway

through it is a very well-furnished living room in the Western style, where everything reeks of insane amounts of money]

[The room is sterile, like many moneyed homes are. Everything looks laid out by design, with no personal touches. Despite the fashion being modern, however, there's little to no sign of modern technology.]

[no answer, but the hall has a door, an open doorway, and a stairway up

the door is slightly ajar, and the open doorway goes to a kitchen with the sound of someone going through pots & pans]

[Now that you're in here, it's suddenly the middle of the night. Despite this, Diarmuid is pulling out a frying pan and turning the stove on.

He notices he's not alone, and jumps.]

Ah-- Hello.

[Mildly puzzled, though as dreams may normally go he takes the changes in stride.]

Did you hear anything, before? Like voices.

[there's recognition on his face, but he laughs it off]

That would be strange, wouldn't it? Are you a guest?

[He says it a little slowly, as if he doesn't like the taste of it in his mouth, but he's still all smiles.]

The voices I heard were saying "I love you".

[turning back to the stove, starting water boiling]

You could go down the hall to the front door.

But there isn't a real way out.
