[Maybe you have gotten used to the regular hum of the HQ's engines as it flies slowly over a rippling canopy. Maybe you even find their sound soothing as you drift off tonight... Or maybe you don't drift off at all, maybe wherever you are, whatever you were doing, you just find yourself inexplicably sleepy.

Whatever it is, you end up in dreams. Your dreams? Or someone else's? It's hard to say.]

((OOC: DREAM POST!

For those of you who have never participated in a dream post, everyone interested in running a character's dream posts a top level comment and people comment to that to be in that character's dream. There are basically no rules about how it works! Be a lucid dreamer, don't be, figure it out halfway through, push and pull between who controls the dream. w/e have fun! If you need an OOC excuse to be asleep you can totally assume Rew's power just made your character unreasonably tired at some point. Solitary dreamers will find ocean waters rising in and drowning out their dreams, but Rew won't be making any appearances in this post.))

[He seems lost and distracted.]

I... I end up here a lot... I don't know.

[considers this for a moment]

It is not a pleasant place.

[L-laughing. It's not a very stable sound.]

Ah. This isn't the bad part.

Let's not consider that...

[More footsteps. They sounds decidedly more angry.]

Ah. That bad.

[giving the nearest wall a shove with her telekinesis as she talks; the amount of force is equal to, say, driving a car at top speed at it.]

[The wall breaks. The room behind it is an operating room, with a tray of instruments that look recently-used.]

[Meanwhile, the footsteps grow louder, and then out of nowhere, three men appear. They're dressed in uniforms, and they've got batons and guns.]

[Tyki looks discouraged.] Now you've jinxed it.

[telekinetically scooping up wall debris and flinging it at the men, all at high speed; the operating table follows shortly afterwards.]

If the walls can be broken. I will break them.

I do not appreciate being kidnapped. By armed individuals.

[The debris and table... pass through them. They don't even seem to notice, actually. They continue walking by without so much as a glance towards Tyki or the Handmaid.]

We haven't been kidnapped. We're supposed to be here.

[weird... :|b but floating into the operating room]

Is that so.

Then I hope they do not mind. If I look around.

Don't go in there, that's where they hurt you--

[Reaching to try and stop her, but she ends up in the room anyway.]

[Whiiiich results in an unseen force lifting her and slamming her onto the table.]

[on one hand, didn't expect that and is therefore stunned for a moment.

on the other hand, didn't expect that and is extremely pissed that it happened, so flashy magical aura has just lit up around her entire body]

[Restraints begin to wrap around her body. By no means unbreakable, but they're sturdy.]

[Meanwhile, the guards that had previously ignored the two have turned around and are busy trying to subdue Tyki. WHOOPS looks like this room was the trigger for a different section of the dream]

[sadly, is currently too preoccupied with telekinetically ripping those restraints off to notice Tyki.]

[After a bit of struggle, she'll be able to get free. Normally, in this recurring dream, this is the part where Tyki gets experimented on. But since you're here!]

[The room begins to quake. Also, the guards are too busy to pay much attention to the glowing lady.]

[telekinetically grabbing hold of any equipment in the operating room as she checks how Tyki's doing through the hole in the wall.]

[He's kneeling obediently, head down, while one guard keeps a gun trained on him.]

[The room quakes even more violently and then begins to shatter, disappearing slowly. The two remaining guards slowly advance towards the Handmaid. Although they seem more like unthinking automatons than people, they do have the grace to look at least slightly intimidated by her.]

[flinging a piece of medical equipment at them, testing if they're still intangible.]

[They dissolve instantly into dust particles, leaving Tyki coughing. The remaining parts of the room follow. Now it's just the two of them and the operating table.]

[Incredibly, Tyki doesn't seem as perturbed as might be imagined.]

...Well done...

[staying awayyy from that operating table. though now that it's just the two of them the flashy magical aura dies down, so just her eyes are glowing.]

Was it.

[He gets up slowly, brushing the dust off.]

It was.

...I've never seen you here before, you know. You're changing things.

I too. Have never seen this place before. Or you.

It is disturbing.

I think I do actually know you from once before, you know. You were lying on the floor...

[Urk, having difficulty reconciling the Thusia environment with current circumstances]

Never mind. [He continues walking.]

[floats after him, wary for any more armed and/or angry individuals.]

Lying on the floor.

That seems like a strange thing. For me to be doing.

Yes, well, I got the feeling you kind of just passed out there.

[No more angry individuals, but the temperature does keep dropping.]
