[ Haste is good! It means a few hours go by pretty scare-free, provided the group plays smart and quick and quiet. As they continue they pass by a very large vineaconda that's apparently just eaten, given the way it continues to sunbathe and the very large bulge in its body when they get near it. But just past it is a very angry looking moss lion, pacing back and forth, attention focused on the snake... for now... ]

[Michi... has years of general fighting training, none of which actually involves moving quietly but she sure does know how to sneak out of a house.

[ Almost there! The trees are much wider here, older, which is a good indicator you're moving in the right direction. In fact, you can see the shadow of the ruins ahead and above, in a tree so thick around it feels almost like looking at the face of a cliff. It's maybe another hour's walk or so.]
