[ Who's up for some fun times in nature? ]

[ Oh, and if you're up and out early enough, you may just catch sight of a Lizagon making its way down the big hallway toward the wider open area. A big Lizagon- easily larger than the other ones loitering around this hallway. Its scales have also started changing to a bright, ruby red color, the older green ones shedding off as it walks. ]

[ It doesn't seem to notice you as it passes- it doesn't seem to be stopping for anything in fact. Do you dare follow it? Or are you lucky enough to have decided to go hunting after it passes? ]

[ Wander past the cleared rooms and the nature-covered area kicks back in. There's two sets of doorways ahead of you, two on the left, and two on the right. The second door on the left has an absolutely rancid smell drifting out of it... ]

[first on the right it is, then!]

[ The room on the right is absolutely covered in vines, moss, and grass- the only features of note are a gathering of small plants in the corner with star-shaped flowers in either black or white. Some of the flowers on the plants have turned into black or white pods though. ]

[ There's also a quail-like bird, a Dumbird to be exact, pecking at one of the pods. It doesn't seem to have noticed you yet. ]

[I wonder if I can stun the bird with magic before it catches on that there's a human here...]

[take aim...]

[ It keeps pecking, oblivious! ]

[fire!]

[one stunning bolt of magical energy heading your way]

[fuckingnature]

[ It gives a squawk as its hit and stunned- an absolutely ear-piercing squawk that can very easily deafen a person in the same room who wasn't ready for it. ]

[well, I sure wasn't -- now I'm a bit stunned]

[fuckingnature]

[ Being temporarily deaf must be exciting. ]

[ But now there are bright yellow, mantis-like pouring out from the vines overhead. And they look agitated. ]

[someone failed his Spot Notice check]

[in other words, lack of hearing fails to cue him in that something is happening above his head until the bugs get up into his personal space]

[fuckingnature]

[ They fly right into him- and the second they do he gets to learn that those claws of theirs are razor sharp. And they seem very intent on cutting him- all 50+ of them. ]

[okay, time to run back into the clear parts of the hall and stop, drop and roll...]

[... while screaming for help, since not many useful weapons against razor bugs]
