Who: everyone!
When: Day 103, morning
Where: anywhere in the apartment area.
What: there's a crazy hall monitor assigning everyone homework, discuss.

[HQ is certainly having a bit of a hectic time right now. Those of you not willing to battle with the forces of darkness are probably holed up in the pseudo security of your rooms. Anyone who would happen to be doing such a thing this afternoon might notice a sheet of paper slipped under their door. It's not blank though, it appears someone has written something on it. It's handwritten, but the handwriting is so nearly perfect you might not notice unless you're looking closely. If you were to investigate, you'd find that it reads thusly;

PAPER ASSIGNMENT #1

Please write a 5-6 page essay on one of the following topics.

1. Discuss the death penalty and whether you think it is appropriate in any circumstances. Summarize the history of the death penalty in your home world, including the methods in which it was carried out. If you are for the use of the death penalty, please explain under what circumstances you think it would be acceptable and who the hell you think you are that gives right to decide who lives and dies. If you are against it, please explain why you think the rotten scum of society should be allowed to continue breathing the same air as proper law abiding citizens.

2. Detail the manner in which law and order was enforced in your home world or country. Please include the history that shaped them into what they are today. What law codes are in place to prevent crime? What form of government and law enforcement was installed to enforce it? Do you think the current system is affective? Furthermore, project how you think this form of government would respond to a global scale despair-inducing event. Is it properly equipped to deal with a violent mass uprising? Why or why not?

The paper should be double spaced, two cm margins. Feel free to collaborate and discuss among yourselves, however every student must turn in their own separate paper. Sources should be cited properly and a bibliography should be included at the end of the essay. When finished, please turn your paper in to Apartment 3A. The deadline is one week. Students with missing or late papers will receive detention.

If you're fast enough in opening the door, you could easily catch Ishimaru in the act of assigning the entirety of Thusia homework. Otherwise, you could always find him at the apartment he mentioned, later! Or perhaps you'd like to take the assignment and "discuss it amongst yourselves" as it suggests?]
