[Sometime around noon, a new bulletin is posted by the fountain. There are a number of open spaces on the sheet of paper (which is very large, and covers up a few out-of-date bulletins) and markers left for anyone who wants to add contact information or additional notes or ideas. A slightly hung over but otherwise satisfied youkai is lounging on the edge of the fountain, yawning.

She waves her hand, and adds, as an afterthought:]

In Albinia's name, and such.

((OOC: Once again, this document is completely open for anyone to edit, so if you want your character to add to it, you can just write directly on it. Besides that, you can use this as a plain old mingle, use it to discuss the possibility of another move, or use it to bother Yukari, as you wish. ))

I may be able to help with the cultivating and growing part. I used to study ecology, at least.

That may be promising. Do you mean that you may as in, I could, but it sounds like a pain in the ass? Or that you may as in, I'm being needlessly insecure and I am not sure I am up for the job?

The latter. It's not insecurity, though. The trouble I keep running into here is that the ecology of this place doesn't make any logical sense.

Oh, that. [Laughs. Things... making sense... yeah Yukari guesses that is a thing for most people.]

You know, Albinia gives lessons in the biology of the local flora and fauna. And for the vines, they seems to more or less grow themselves, honestly. They don't seem to need any sun at all, not much moisture. I would bet that a room with a layer of soil on the bottom would keep them going for ages.

It's not just the biology, but things like ...oh, migratory patterns. The general ecology seems powered by an external drive rather than the usual complex systems.

I hadn't heard anyone was offering more information, but I'll have to look into that.

Probably because it is powered by an external drive. The ecology of such a place quickly becomes a study in theology, I'm afraid.

I'm certain your skills will be helpful. You'll need to adapt them, but I definitely believe it's not beyond your capabilities.

You'll have to adapt quickly. Don't worry. You'd have to fail pretty monumentally for us to all die, and if you do fail, it will probably be too minor to result in mass death.

No, I wouldn't think so. With something like fuel you can generally see pretty quickly if something is or isn't working.

I think most people here have developed some pretty good methods for preventing that, but I'd definitely do a daily trim-and-destroy.
