[Remember those insect terrors the recent notice was warning people about? Nova's sitting by the common area doors with one of them draped across his shoulders. It's going for his face!!11

. . . To crawl up the side of it and peer outside from the better vantage point on top of his head. Completely unalarmed, he reaches up to feed it a shard of bone from the thoroughly gnawed pile sitting beside him. He even pets its terrifying insect head while it nibbles eagerly away at it.

Because someone posted warnings about terapedes on the noticeboard. And I assume if they saw yours, you'd explain that it- she is a pet. Or at least not likely to eat people out exploring.

Maybe the Maiden might not bother explaining that bit of information, but the poster didn't mention her.

I was hoping it was just yours or hers and someone got spooked. Well, really I was hoping someone was hallucinating or someone from Sabra saw something local that looked vaguely centipede-like and got carried away.

I saw that poster too. Whoever wrote it had to be a Sabran who didn't talk to either one of us. There's no way they'd get such clear information out of the Maiden. —It's probably just someone who was too scared to speak to either one of us and made an assumption.

I definitely figured it was a Sabran. Just checking with you, though -- terapedes make a pretty strong impression on people.
