Who: Kengo and wandering people
When: Day 88, early evening
Where: Level 2, by the warehouse
What: Training
[Before he went to bed that night (when dreampost occurs), Kengo was busy practicing with his new powers.
After jogging around the perimeter of the Level 3 common area several times to warm up, he found an out-of-the-way area on the south end of the open square on Level 2, in front of the warehouse, and started up a series of drills, mostly trying out styles of attacks using liquified darkness--first just activating it, trying to form claws or blades with it and swiping (rather inexpertly). He's not very good at it, uneasiness and nerves about the new power causing him to be a bit unsteady with it. Every time the darkness in his skin creeps up his arm to the sleeve of his t-shirt he stops entirely and lets it dissipate before trying again.
Finally he gets frustrated and pulls on a pair of fingerless gloves, activating them into a pair of metal gauntlets, and starts doing much more familiar boxing drills of his own design.]

Calm down. You're alright.
It seems if you're cornered it gets worse much more quickly.

Um... i-it's normal not to have killed anything before, where I'm from... I mean, I guess I've killed Kokuchi, but they just disappear once they die...

[side-eyes birdcorpse... If I don't think about how I killed it it's not so bad...] I guess we should get it back inside before something else comes?

[steps towards him, magic stirring the wind under his feet and coiling around him, then Kengo]
Soothing breeze, lend me your strength.
[a great deal of the injury knits in a rush of air - he's still hurt, but it's down to wounds one can deal with.]

Ah.. [Welp... hesitates a moment, as if expecting the bird to jump up again if he touches it, then steels himself and grabs it by the legs, hauling it up. He'll probably need some help carrying it but the two of them can manage] Sorry, bird. I'll try to be less messy next time...
