Where: Apartment A
What: A new arrival...he seems friendly enough?

[For those who enter the apartment you'll find a very disoriented newcomer. He's sitting on the floor with a black bird on his head. He has only one arm, most of the other one is in his hand. He's staring at it before looking to his stump and back to the arm. He doesn't seem to be bleeding...somehow. He also has a hole in his chest, part of his head is broken, and he has holes in his leg and foot. But all just lead into black emptiness. And he has a smile on his face. Strange huh? Care to approach?]

Anyway. Who are these gods you spoke of?

[That doesn't really answer why you are, but I guess if you're a living doll it might be a Thing...]

Beings who gain power through offerings from people. Here they're our source of anything that can't be found in nature.

I see. And what kind of offerings do we have to give?

It depends on the god. I've not learned them all, but it seems most will take certain parts of creatures that we bring back from beyond the safe rooms. They will also accept immaterial offerings, such as certain actions done in their name.

Very interesting. And can we talk to these gods or do they hide from us?

They've not answered any attempts to summon them yet today. Presumably because they're busy calling others here.

That would make sense. I wouldn't mind talking to them though. Maybe they could answer some of my questions. Deary me I have so many.

Well, there's not much to it beyond what places we've cleaned out for ourselves so far. The hallways are overgrown with vines and other plant-life, and various animals tend to roam about unchecked.

Animals? What kind of animals?
