[So, his last encounter with Miss Lee was a little more chill than planned but it's been a while now and busibody workaholic fretting has won out over awkwardness and Link is coming to check on how the other exorcists are doing.

[Looks over and hums and nods in return.] Need something?

[has an aw..kward.. thought... for a moment there... but then just shakes his head] I just wanted to see how you and Miss Lee were doing.

A shrug.] We're managing. [Kanda's roughed up from the constant clearing and hunting but he's still alive and not grievously injured.

Glances at the fruit.]

[hands one over] Has her condition improved any?

Oh--takes it.] She still can't walk very well, but she seems fine otherwise.

[It's one of those purple orange-fruits, already purified]

[Well, no, probably not.] There isn't a lot to do here to begin with.

There's more to survival than hunting and sacrifice...

... Like? [He might get that if there was anything but hunting and sacrifice available as of now, but he doesn't see much in the way of alternatives with an empty apartment.

Some things can be procured without having to go through the gods to do it. Twine and rope, or baskets for example...

[Kanda has no idea what they'd need those for.

[It probably gets boring sitting around most of the day and making sure Kanda didn't get himself half-killed out there.

[And now she is going to take a very sharp step back. HA HA hearing someone from Central say anything about her Boots is usually grounds to have a panic attack.

You may find a reason to take it up again, but while you're still divided on how you feel about it... there's no harm in keeping it in its dormant state rather than have it hindering you this way.
