[some of you might have actually gone to bed at a reasonable time. for those who did and are awake this morning, you'll find a warm fragrant breeze circulating through the third and fourth floors of the building which seems to call your attention gently upwards. if you follow the pull, you'll find blankets and low tables spread across the floor of the fifth level. On and around them, you will find kites of every description imaginable as well as the material to make and decorate your own if you're inclined.

The wind here is steady and warm with enough strength to hold a kite up without pulling it from tiny hands (though if an adult or more adventurous tiny picks up a few of the stunt kites and gliders, they may find the wind will pick up enough to lift them from their feet occasionally).

There are also plates of scones with chocolate, jam, or cheese fillings.

It's almost as if someone is encouraging you to play for a while.]

[She might note while they walk that most things are still caked in mud and grime from the flooding, but it's very clear these are apartment-lined hallways]

Down this hall, around a corner, and down another hall. So... short.

How big is this place? There are so many rooms.

[Pauses in front of a very pink, sparkly door and shoves it open]

Five floors that we know of, and this is one of the smaller ones. I think it was originally meant to house a lot more people than we have.

...Your room looks very, er, interesting. What was it originally meant for?

[DESCRIPTION OF SPARKLES GOES HERE you know what it looks like, though there's a layer of damage on the walls from the flood, and... five red blobs underfoot... don't step in one.]

Haah, well... have you ever heard of a spaceship?

[This world is insane s-stepping over blobs]

...Like a ship in space? As in, up there in the sky?

[THEY WIGGLE AS YOUR FOOT PASSES OVER THEM but they're surely harmless. Retrieving a glass and some water.]

Exactly like that. It's... not actually as crazy as it sounds, I promise...

[May kneels down to poke at them while he does that]

Are you sure, that sounds pretty crazy.

[Snatches her fingers back] Why, what will they do?? Ah...

[Standing and taking that drink with a nod] Thank you. I think, I shall just have to get used to strange. So, are we in space now?
