Who: Anyone
When: Day 70, morning
Where: Anywhere
What: Look around! Run into each other! Get cleaned up!
[ So it's been a day since the HQ was moved, and everyone has no doubt been enjoying the sunshine and the lifting of that oppressive gloom. Some have even started to get things cleaned up again. Appropriate for chaos to be followed by order again, hm? Those who are interested in grabbing some cleaning supplies will notice that Eizon has actually generously set out some already by his shine, today.
For other people still exploring, some may notice that a lot of vines fell away when the HQ was uprooted, and people searching around outside will see that about where level 4 starts, some of the wall looks different--a weaker texture, actually more like concrete that was filled over something. There also seems to be remains of twisted metal scaffolding or railing in some places, all along two stone ledges that trace around the half of the HQ opposite the window side. Perhaps these were once balconies?
In any case, be careful while you're out there, it seems like a lot more Red Lizagons are around this high up in the canopy! Some of them even seem extra mad. Maybe the HQ squished some nests?]

Jabberwock's laser gets a direct hit on its eye, blinding it instantly and it thrashes in pain, attempting to swing Elliot but giving up in favor of escape, the coils relaxing and retreating from around him.
With one last gnash of its teeth, the partially blinded and bleeding snake slithers away, quicker than you might believe for a creature so large, winding around the branch and slithering down another tree and out of sight.]

Nothing- in this place... is safe.
[he's panting but damn if he's smiling a little at being alive!- pushing with his feet he tries to sit up and -]
AH! SHIT!
[grips at his ankle, feeling the swelling through his boot that is keeping it as intact as it can]

Suddenly, Elliot is cursing, and his attention jerks to him. Leo rolls over on his knees, nudging the sword away to take a look. He's not an expect, but Elliot's safety was entrusted to him before. This is likely broken, and Leo knows this hunt is over. They've lost Jane and Isabella, and they haven't heard from Chris and Tali. It's worrisome. That creepy man never came outside either, but that's probably better for him.
Leo manages to get an arm wrapped around Elliot to help him up, grabbing his sword in his empty hand. They both start heading back along the huge branches toward the headquarters - the dome visible only in a tiny crack of the trees.]
Try to keep your weight off of it?

Think we could find Shepard and Isabella on the way back?
[he doesn't sound too hopeful, it's a huge forest, and who knows what direction they went in, all he can hope for is that they get back safely]
I am very tired of snakes... [he says this on a sigh, cringing when they start walking]

She eventually catches up, landing on all fours just before them, her whole body shaking and steam rising from her armor. She's trying to control her breathing so she doesn't attract any more bloody monsters, but the grunting sound she's making can't be helped.
... And then her head shoots up, eyes flashing as she looks at the both of them, the relief she might have felt before replaced with anger. It's a good job she can't bloody do anything about it right now, she's just going to breath... very loudly.]

[She looks tired, maybe he shouldn't ask if she can help Elliot back. They take another stumbling step, trying to weave around the branches and vines, passed curtains of leaves, Leo holding up Elliot where he can.]
Are you okay?

is she smoking?!]

Her chest is on fire, give her a moment while she scrunches into a ball and gets her breath back.]

With a glance, Leo looks to Elliot and lightly helps him lean onto something, then starts walking toward her, rubbing the back of his forehead with his sleeve, still gripping onto the sword between his fingers. He's mindful of it in his hand as he moves. Their clothes are dirty, and Leo has some kind of gunk in his hair, making it stick strangely together in spots. It's irritating his skin across the right side of his face.]
Shepard- do you need a moment to sit?
no subject
Do you need medical attention?
[he's not sure if she's got anything in that tool of hers or if any of the plants around them would help but he's leaning on a tree trunk, watching her carefully]
no subject
You... ran... off!! AGAIN!
[And she drops her hand, her breath gradually coming back, sweat dripping onto the branch below her. She feels wonderful. NOT.]
no subject
I guess you're feeling well enough....

We didn't mean to.

She looks up at Elliot and the anger flashes, but dies almost as quickly as the relief vanished earlier.]
What... happened.

[Leo gestures toward the more injured party, and takes another step in his direction.]
I'll get Elliot; We can head back. Just catch your breath a moment--

looks like all that moss and growth was covering the hole in the branch you were on and no amount of dodging can catch you, it's fast, gravity that is.]

L-Leo? Leo!?

LEO! LEO!

The fall knocked the air out of him, but with a whimper and a wince of pain, he's slowly moving. He's a good distance down, but he can make out movement from the mostly covered hole above, bits of debris carried down slowly by the air - the rest shoved to the ground with him. It takes him several moments to compose himself enough to speak. There's a lot of new aches and scratches -- and blood at his forehead, but it isn't gushing.]
I-I'm okay.
[A quick survey of the area--?]

It looks safe. Don't worry! Try and find the others?
no subject
We're coming down!
[And with that, she's assisting Elliot along the branch, pulling him against her hip to keep his injured ankle off the ground. This is going to be a pain in the ass.]
no subject
You told me not to be reckless! Don't come down here and get stuck too. Find Chris and Tali first!
