New god intro!

Who: Mortals, gods
When: Day 13, afternoon
Where: Shrine Room
What: The other kind of new arrivals.

[a teenaged girl with intricately braided hair and dressed in sandals, a flowy, brightly-patterned skirt, and a short-sleeved sweater that looks like it was made of the leftovers of a million other sweaters, is pacing the shrine room, twisting a loop of yarn strung between her hands. A pile of reddish sand seems to move around, following her.]

Perhaps away from the corner...

Only if the agreement is sincere.
evenimprobable: (It is a question of cubic capacity.)

Even if they did, I think that sort of thing would vary from person to person.

Hmm, that's true . . . if the scale uses numbers, you could use those to determine what the average sincerity level is . . . ah, and the standard deviation . . . I'm sure many people would deviate . . .

It would be an interesting thing to test out.
evenimprobable: (It's all been done before.)

[amused]

I'll keep it in mind to remind you some time in the future.

May I ask your name?
evenimprobable: (It is an old maxim of mine.)

Kudo Shinichi. It's a pleasure to meet you, sir. What are your domains?
evenimprobable: (It is human to err.)

[perks up]

Really.
evenimprobable: (Love what you've done with the place.)

Mmm, I believe we will be speaking often, then.

I suppose that depends on where your interests lie. Before my death I was actively working as a detective, and also in my first year of university.

Murder. Burglary and theft as well - though my focus laid on copycats of a certain thief who had recently . . . disappeared.
evenimprobable: (You wear a jacket.)

In a sense. You have to "learn" about the victim to discover what may have lead to his death, don't you? Sometimes it isn't a murder; sometimes it's an accident, or it was a suicide. You need to learn everything you can to really determine what happened.

As for the thief . . . [frowns] He died before I could catch him.
