Where: Hallway near apartment D
What: A-T wandered off and got hurt and Akito is fixing her up


[Akito is sitting in the hallway outside of apartment D, A-T sprawled across his lap, whining quietly. There is a trail of blood from the uncleared areas to where they're sitting, and with the way Akito is carefully wrapping a bandage around A-T's paw, the source of the blood and the cause of her whining becomes fairly obvious.]

Shh... It will get better soon, A-T. [He hums a random, calming tune as he finishes bandaging her wounds.] Now we know of one more thing to watch out for, ne?

[He's tired - exhausted, really - and it shows, though he seems relaxed enough with A-T. Now that his hands are free to pat her, he leans back against the wall and combs his fingers through her fur. She's too heavy for him to carry the rest of the way to their room, so he contents himself with half-dozing in the hallway with her instead.]

[Akito doesn't react to his presence except to answer the question, focusing more on massaging A-T's muscles until she feels more comfortable.]

She'll be fine in a few hours.

She was restless, I think... We're used to living outside, with fresh air and more space available to than we could ever travel.

That's probably pretty rough, huh...

I'm still not entirely sure this place isn't Hell.

[If not for answering her question, it would be hard to tell if he knew Aella was there at all for all the reaction he gives.]

[It catches his attention enough that he turns his head to look at her, though continues petting A-T very carefully.]

Back home, I won a scale from a water god. For your daring nerve and reckless courage, said He, I'll grant you an ability. [Grins, brightly, and pushes her braid over her shoulder.] It's magic.

[A-aww. Injured cute thing. Becca pads off to the kitchen to get some leftover gravy from last night's dinner, and she brings out a bowl full of it. She kneels down beside him, and sets the bowl down for A-T.]

Your poor little friend...what is it?

[Akito pulls the gravy out of A-T's reach, not entirely trusting of random food from strangers. She could be very valuable, and he isn't taking any risks.]

Food would make her feel worse right now.

[Which is the truth, at least.] And she's a Flareon.

She's beautiful.

[Becca holds her hand out for her to sniff, knowing better than to just reach out and touch strange animals. Especially ones that are in pain. Especially ones that look like they're on fire.]

She is.

[He would be more enthusiastic if A-T were feeling better. As it is, she doesn't have the energy to bother sniffing the stranger's hand.]

It would be better if you didn't touch her while she's hurt like this.

I guessed. You can keep that bowl until she's feeling good enough to eat it, but bring it back to the Apartment A kitchen when you're done.

I'll make sure to make something special for her at dinner tonight, too.

No, she should be fine in a few hours. It's painful, but not fatal.

I don't know - she wanders off on her own sometimes to catch spiders to eat. She's normally very careful and stays close to the safe areas...

She's used to being able to wander far and freely, without fear of dying. I think she must have gotten a little bit antsy.

We all get antsy here. I'm not surprised that she did. How are you sure she'll be alright if you don't know what hurt her?
