What: Killing the fairy light

[So, at some point during the night, a table appeared near the bulletin board, and on that table there are several glass and metal vials full of a dark, black, gooy substance. On the table there is a note:

Caution: Extremely Corrosive Use on the giant fairy light If not helping, stay off of level 5 or you might get rained on with acid Don't waste it]

((OOC: There will be a thread for AT THE TABLE and AT THE FAIRY LIGHT. You can also use this post for general mingling other wise. The fairy light thread will be mod monitored in case input is needed, but overall this is more of a mingle! Absolutely anyone can help with this, and you should assume there are enough vials that anyone who wants to help can grab one, but few enough that it can't afford to be wasted. The fairy light is very big, after all.))

[It's an ordinary table, but it is full of glass and metal containers, some of them stoppered, some of them open. The black goo inside smells just a little bit like burning. If you test it, you will find it quickly eats through anything organic, up to and including bone. It will eat in a downward motion, until there is nothing left for it, and then turn hard and almost plastic-like, at which point it can be touched and scraped up safely. If eating up a LOT of matter, it's mass will gradually increase and it will release a faintly stanky gas.

[Getting up to the fairy light is not really an easy task on it's own. For one, it's still raining, for two, the entire fifth level is covered in a network of metal scaffolding in the shape of a dome. The highest point, the point the giant fairy light is resting on, is about 100 feet up.

The bright side is that at least the scaffolding is stable, and there are plenty of vines wrapped around it, particularly on the southern end where they are so thick that you can almost climb them like a net-shaped ladder.

The bad news is that many of those vines are actually the roots of the fairy light, which itself is huge. Huge like you could comfortably build a house on top of it. Huge like, once you reach it's base, the petals are about five feet over your head (which at least protects you from much of the rain) and out across perhaps 40% of the fifth level. The light it lets off has definitely dimmed since the rain began, but there is still enough that seeing what you are doing won't be a problem.

There aren't my animal dangers up here anymore, and the fairy light itself is defenseless. Just massive. Be careful where you pour your black acid goo.]
