Because the best time to give someone instructions on aftercare is obviously while they're either partially or wholly unconscious.

It's dye, not a tattoo. It will fade as the protection associated with it does.

I stressed twice that you were to keep the wounds below your heart. Lying flat allows the poison to travel with much greater ease. And you're concerned that the mark placed in such a way as to guard you against such idiocy didn't wash out in your bath? That you didn't know every particular of the components when you couldn't even follow the one instruction that mattered?

That is not the point. And given how exhausted I was, I do appreciate it as it is.

I am angry with the fact that no one told me it belonged to Ptou's sister, because a decent person who have at least given some notice. Not that it did not wash off. In fact, I did not try to wash it off during that bath, as I am not that stupid.

There are none among us who would not give Ptou himself the benefit of how much he wanted to conceal, or reveal. I left that call to Chrono, and Chrono left it to Ptou.

What you consider "decent" isn't applicable here.
