Who: Albinia and YOU
When: Day 64, noonish
Where: Shrine Area
What: A story.
[As promised, Albinia is sitting in the shrine area. The temperature might be a bit cooler there, but that's more for the snakes' discomfort than any of you.]
[And she's just calmly waiting for people to gather.]

((OOC: You can handwave your character having been here to hear the story, even if you can't really post here yourself.))

Re: Question
Re: Question
You have said they were able to overcome any natural disaster, but were also destroyed by those selfsame disasters. The gods you have said were on the verge of destruction still, according to this account, had enough strength to cause enough of these disasters and on enough of a scale that the world as a whole abandoned their own technological learning and descended back to an illogical dark age.
You have said the gods destroyed countries in fits of temper, but have not said how. You say your power comes from worship and belief, but at the same time, equate power with age when speaking of your eldest.
Individually, any of these things may be explained and reasoned out. But when the entirety of the tale is riddled with such questioning inconsistencies, it cannot support the 'truth' you wish to share.
Re: Question
The disasters were not what the places were prepared for. In a desert, you expect a a drought, not a blizzard. Their strength was being prepared what was to be expected. That was how they destroyed countries. They gave them disasters they would never expect.
There is some correlation to age and power. There is no limit to how much power we can have in reserve. The more time you have, the more power you can gather. Especially if you are not using your power.
It's the story that happened.
