[It’s during that overlap of dusk and dawn when the sound starts: a low treble growl, closer to a husky hissing that begins to filter in through the walls of the HQ. No matter where you are, you will find yourself stirring to the sudden feeling of being alone, in the dark, uncertain and very afraid. Throughout the hallways floors are little puddles of water here and there, as if something had been tracking in the pouring rain outside. Do you investigate?

The sound moves as if it is traveling through the walls themselves (which is a silly idea…right?) and if you’re willing to follow it, seems to be heading towards the baths…

[frowns] I don't know much about the gods or how they work here. I was just brought here two days ago, or I'd try to help.

[The god almost seems to be amused.]

[arches eyebrow] You've got fear down pretty well.

Though a lot of people react violently when they're afraid.

[and here he is talking to the thing civilly]

The weak. It isss human to kill what it doesssn't understand.

[The coiled length under him slides forward so he sits closer, relaxed.]

[nods, that is true, though-]

Are you only looking for the strong as your followers?

Perhapsss. Thosse who can pleasssse me.

[a black headed snake rises out of the water with a hiss]

After all, all should bow before me.

[tilts head, he's not so sure about that]

No one should have to bow to anyone. If they choose to then wouldn't they be better followers?

They sssshould be honored to ssserve me.

Some humans need reasons to serve beyond the honor of it.

They are missstaken.

[S'vx's eyes glow golden under hooded lids when he opens them a little.]

[frowns] From what I understand of this place, there are a lot of gods here, some of the residents here are already pledged to them, at least that's what I've been told.

Are you one that has any .. priests?

[The hiss comes not from the god but from the snake around his shoulders.]

Do not compare me with thosssse weaklingsss. I do not need to grovel for priesssts.

[takes a step back, okay that is very disconcerting] Ah..

[great, this is a bad place to be it seems, takes a breath, watching the snakes and the god in front of him]

What do you want from me? [Really only asking because he is still worried about Leo and he isn't sure he wants to anger this god with all it's snakes]

[tilts head]

Alright. What is the message? And who is it to? [well he's glad it's kind of an easy task]

Tell the otherssss, that S'vx hasss returned...and he is not pleassssed.

[The snakes above and on the walls hiss back in unison to their master's words.]

[slow nod] I- okay. I can do that. [backs away slowly, what a place this is]

[The god settles down in the water again, having dismissed him already, but the sound of moving snakes just beyond the shadows will escort you out.]
