[ Instead of yelling to get your attention Rin just sets off what is essentially a sparkler. People are distracted by shiny things, right? Anyway. She might sound a bit snippy, but it's hard to tell. ]

We really need some kind of announcement system here. Hey, listen up! Wisdom and I have worked out a flare system for people who go into nature or are accident prone or get stabbed a lot and don't notice. [ like some people she knows ] Basically when you're in danger it'll send an alert and help people find you. Each flare has to be tuned up to you and after one use it's shot, so you'll have to get a new one.

If you want one, come and get one. If you want one for someone else you need to go get them and make them come here.

(ooc: general disclaimer that flares are only as convenient as OOCly you want to be convenient so if you want to be LOST IN THE WOODS!1 you can still get lost and people can still not find you. But if you want a convenient 'reassurance' sort of way to bop off into the woods for x period of time and not cause a panic attack, here is one that.. isn't drafting...!)

That would be the downside; as I understand it, one notes wounds, but more for their inconvenience than any particular unpleasantness.

Both, really. People get lost on a depressingly regular basis, though I understand some efforts have been made in that regard. We go out ourselves at need, but these are mostly for the general good.

Mn. I wanted to head out there, but I heard it was a bad idea. I was thinking about making a team for it. Three or four man cell, with a medic. See how far we can get.

An interesting suggestion. As far as I'm aware, it hasn't been attempted before, but I'm relatively new to this world.
