[ So you've decided to go outside and get a feel for the area. I sure hope you're armed. ]

(( OOC: Kicking off the new arrivals with an exploration post! We will be working on this post for the rest of the night and tomorrow, so feel free to jump in whenever. [ There's a sound higher up and, for a moment, a sun-emitting flower is uncovered. ]

[ This is the part where you realize you are in a room full of six-inch long spiders. ]

[ Like every inch of the room is covered in spiders. ]

[ SPIDERS DON'T WAIT FOR NO ONE have an ARMY of black and orange-striped spiders skittering toward you. ]

[GUESS WE'RE GONNA BE TRYING TO SLICE UP A BUNCH OF BUG... WHAT THE SHIT HAPPENED TO MY BLADES THEY'RE SO SHORT FFUUUUUUUUUCKKKKK]

[holding his sword like a dumbass and kicking at the first spider that comes in range]

[ They're pretty easy to knock away, but there is a tidal wave of them pouring at you both. ]

[never back down -- slicing and stomping all the spiders]

[Fff, don't want to leave him behind -- stance shifts as his forehead and blade starts glowing, invoking the Hungry Tiger Technique to add some more bite to the sword's edge as he starts into a pair of big, sweeping blows at the mass.]

[ You can keep swinging but it's like they never end. ]

[ o yes and they bite. ]

[anything that bites is getting sliced in half -- irresistible force vs immovable object]

[Okay, starting to back off more, continuing to beat them away as best he can.]

We need to find a better position!

[ The ones that don't get sliced just get back up and keep charging at you guys >EEE ]

[fucking bugs. ignores the kid and keeps up his dicing of arachnids, hissing curses under his breath as he kills them]

[Oh nooo a few more slices as he backs up, putting as much energy as he can into the movements -- by now it's probably just compensating for his wound penalties.]

[ So party-time with the spiders probably means you'll have a harder time noticing a twitch in the vines across the room. ]

[ And maybe the set of two needles flying toward Senji. ]

[NOT OMNIPOTENT OKAY?! jerks back as they hit his left side]

What the fuck?!

[Trying a low sweep to try clearing nearby space to breathe and analyze the surroundings, now that. They should be a little less dark.]

Is there no end to this?

[ Those spiders are still coming, but Senji's about to have a hard time fighting them off once that complete paralysis settles in. ]
