[ So you've decided to go outside and get a feel for the area. I sure hope you're armed. ]

(( OOC: Kicking off the new arrivals with an exploration post! We will be working on this post for the rest of the night and tomorrow, so feel free to jump in whenever. We would appreciate it if people teamed up for this post, but if you feel like running off on your own, feel free to do that as well! ))

[Glances around for--whoever that is, disposing the moss cat with Link's. Straightens up and peels back his sleeves a little to check how much damage is left on the bloody arm.]

[Not sure! Better, at least, it seems. Shucking off his overcoat and pulling up the sleeve of his uniform to feel at the injury (prior injury?).]

[(According to Ingram) It seems while a good chunk of it has been recovered it's still bleeding pretty badly.

Dipping the strip of towel in the water.] Shall I do it or would you rather?

[Flesh recovery is good! Bleeding is normal for him, missing chunks of his body is not.

A pause, before pulling his glove off and holding his arm out.] It'll be easier if you do.

[Wound on the arm and all that, kind of hard to get it bound up well with just one hand. And he has lacking experience dressing his own injuries anyway.]

[I wonder if it's just me or if you're somehow easier to get along with than I expected... Cleaning off the wound and putting some pressure on it with clean bandages to encourage the bleeding to slow]

We haven't any antiseptic yet so be certain to keep the wound clean and bandages changed regularly. We have a limited supply but we can wash and sanitize the bandages at least to be reused.

Character development does that. It also probably helps he's not presently dissing the religious organization you held so dear.

Nods, watching his arm get bandaged up. Right, he'll need to actually take care of his wounds now that his body won't do everything for him. This will take some getting used to.]

[Well, less dear after amnesia and going home only to get killed by them later...

Once bleeding slows he eyes it again and considers if it needs stitches... Really he'd probably put them on there anyway to be safe, but they don't have the materials for that yet either. Sighs and carefully puts a square of cloth over that area and bandaging it firmly in place.]

I'm not sure what your body's state is, since you've ended up here... But it seems the environment causes a bit of a healing boost, so just try to keep from using it until it mends properly.

[Yeah, that'll do it.

Pulls his arm back and looks it over before pulling his sleeve back down. He'll need to wash that. And his glove. And his overcoat will probably be stained and they're all ripped up. Damn.]

How much of one? [A pause.] I was told the dead could come back again.

Enough that in few days you should be able to move again without trouble, starting from a wound like that.

We haven't tested it. But some of the gods apparently have the ability to grant that, for a sufficient sacrifice to them.

Of course. [More sacrifices. He'll make sure not to get himself killed, then--the healing boost will help, at least, provided he doesn't overdo things.]

[a little tired sounding] They are basically entangled in our everyday lives here, so it's either getting what one can out of it or attempt to do with out. Of course the latter is easier said than done...

[Not unless they want to shoot themselves in the foot, he supposes. And if they're dead they're not going back home anytime soon, so it's "die and tell everyone else not to revive you" or play along.

Talk about trading one oppressive organization for another. But at least he went back to the Order willingly.

Well, the first one Slick killed was claimed by one of the flowers out there, so I'm not sure how it will taste... I suppose we'll find out...

Right. [Good to know.] You said something about animal parts being sacrifices before?

Mm... We'll need to get you another set of clothes... Was there anything else you wanted? [Somehow hard to imagine.] Depending on what it is and which god will offer it, a different part of the animal will be required... Dellen will usually take a portion of the offering in exchange for the clean water she provides to us if you go to her.

[Glances down at his arm.] It's just a tear.

[And blood stains but he's hoping he can rinse the worst of it out, and that's really only noticeable in his overcoat.

But he nods--although hell if he knows how to skin an animal and get the meat properly first. Maybe he should leave that part to someone else.]

And fortunately(?) Link has plenty of murdercave experience with preparing odd animals for cooking by now, so he can show Kanda how if he's actually that curious (though it may be necessary to borrow Mugen...).]

Well, you can think on what you'd like while you rest then. It's usually basic necessities such as clothes and towels, dishes, eating and cooking utensils... We aren't starting from very much, and there may be too little to share with how many have arrived...

[can feel himself getting wordy--sighs and leans his hand on his forehead briefly]

But yeah, he's figured that they don't really have a lot to work with. Gotta ask for practical things.] What do we currently have?

This apartment has the basic appliances: sinks, a stove, an ice box, a shower, a toilet, and there is some glassware in the kitchen, a few plates... that's about all, as far as things everyone will need use of goes.

So more utensils and cookware. [Since they probably won't be wanting to eat that meat raw. And he's presuming sinks and showers come with running water.] Anything else we might need for other apartments?
