There are orange mushrooms that drain energy from a person if you touch them with your bare skin, and blackish vines that have corrosive juices. It doesn't eat through stone, metal, or glass, but will certainly eat through any organic material, including clothes.

[So don't touch orange mushrooms with his fingers (thank god for layers and layers of clothes) and don't get sprayed by black vine juice. Got it.] I'll watch for them.
