[ So you've decided to go outside and get a feel for the area. I sure hope you're armed. ]

(( OOC: Kicking off the new arrivals with an exploration post! We will be working on this post for the rest of the night and tomorrow, so feel free to jump in whenever. We would appreciate it if people teamed up for this post, but if you feel like running off on your own, feel free to do that as well! ))

What kind of animal is that? [Following him all the way to the tree, absolutely no sense of danger or caution]

[ It stops and starts to eat what looks like a squashed purple fruit. If you... have a sense of smell... there's a very nice aroma coming from the tree in front of you. ]

[I don't have a nose but I have a very limited sense of smell, it's more like sensing the aroma than any actual smelling going on. Starts picking fruit.] Ferris wheel, this looks like food!

[ The fruit, big purple apples, seems to be growing mostly on the inner branches of the tree. Which wouldn't be so bad if it didn't also have very dense leaves that all have thorns on them. ]

[Oh no am I going to get all scratched up?]

[ You sure are. They're actually kind barbed too so your hand might be getting kind of stuck. ]

[I cannot feel pain so I'm not going to notice until it starts getting hard to move and something tears-] Awww.

[ The fruit is taunting you. ]

[Stupid fruit :( Trying very carefully to untangle himself, luckily his mountaineering gear is made for rough wear and tear and so it's not getting too badly damaged. Once he's free new plan, hack away at the thorns with his pickaxe]

[ That's pretty effective! Meanwhile the armadillo-thing has finished its fruit and is attempting to climb the tree trunk for more. ]

[YOU HAVE MET YOUR MATCH TREE picking the fruit once more now that the thorns are out of the way, going for the ones the armadillo isn't near]

[ It shifts just enough to swing its own tail (pick-axe shaped even sup bro) and knock down a few fruits before dropping onto the ground and eating them. ]

[I feel a kinship with this creature. Picking as much of this as he can, and maybe dropping a few down for the armadillo-thing's pile, before moving on.]

[ It continues to happily snuffle at its meal. ]

[ At the other end of the room there's a bunch of small plants with black and white flowers. Some of the flowers have turned into... pods? ]

[Pokes the pods]

[ One cracks open and a bunch of small black seeds spill out. ]

[Oooh. I will add these seeds to my pile, poking a few others.]

[ A white pod cracks open to reveal white seeds! ]

Ferris wheel! [How many colours are there, can I collect them all?]

[ Just white and black, but there are plenty of pods that aren't cracked at all. ]

[Let's try poking them. Poke all the things!!]

[ Seeds begin to spill out everywhere! ... they're pretty small and hard to pick up though once they're out of the pods. ]

[Oh this is kind of awkward. Pulls off one of his gloves, trying to scoop them into it]

[ That's a solution, yeah. You've now got a glove full of small black and white seeds! ]

[Empties the glove into his pocket, my pockets are getting kind of full maybe I should head back for now]
