Just a rainy day...
Who: Anyone
When: Day 59, Noon
Where: Anywhere
What: A soggy mingle.
[ The mist around headquarters is mostly cleared along with the morning air, but people may have noticed that it hung around much later into the morning than usual. The rain that started in last night has also been continuing, strong enough to be heard anywhere inside the stone headquarters and much heavier than one would expect for a sudden tropical rain. It also looks as if it'll be lasting the rest of the day and then some. Hope you've got plenty of indoor activities planned for the day. Or don't mind getting a little wet if you don't. ]
[ So what are your plans, Thusia? ]

Re: [AND THEN IT WAS TIME FOR EXPLOSIONS]
Re: [AND THEN IT WAS TIME FOR EXPLOSIONS]
It trivializes the word. If it can be used casually, passingly, for things like annoyance and frustration, what worth does it have for despair and devastation?

Re: [AND THEN IT WAS TIME FOR EXPLOSIONS]
I could do that.
Re: [AND THEN IT WAS TIME FOR EXPLOSIONS]
That is clearly not the answer he was anticipating]

Re: [AND THEN IT WAS TIME FOR EXPLOSIONS]
[Kissing was probably not quite expected, huh]

Re: [AND THEN IT WAS TIME FOR EXPLOSIONS]
Pulling back just as quickly as he leaned in]
I appreciate it.
Re: [AND THEN IT WAS TIME FOR EXPLOSIONS]
I'll try, anyway. If I catch it.
Re: [AND THEN IT WAS TIME FOR EXPLOSIONS]
I can always remind you, if you don't. That's the point of learning.
Re: [AND THEN IT WAS TIME FOR EXPLOSIONS]
I've always been a proponent of learning for learning's sake. But I imagine that was a touch self serving.
Re: [AND THEN IT WAS TIME FOR EXPLOSIONS]
Well. At least it was productively self-serving.
Re: [AND THEN IT WAS TIME FOR EXPLOSIONS]
... Thaaat really depends on who you asked.
Cepheus' theological rejection, for instance, was heavily under my domain. It really wasn't so much refuting the existence of the gods, though it certainly became that, but it began more as a movement realizing that humanity could improve and even elevate itself without the intercession and intervention of the gods on any level. Humanism. Honestly, brilliant stuff.
... Of course, you can imagine how well that went over in the actual pantheon. It is a wildly dangerous concept in general.
Re: [AND THEN IT WAS TIME FOR EXPLOSIONS]
His continued silence implies that it's not one he's particularly concerned or sympathetic toward, either]
...........
Re: [AND THEN IT WAS TIME FOR EXPLOSIONS]
Mmm. Either way, I think I'll take an hour or so to recoup some energy, dear.
Re: [AND THEN IT WAS TIME FOR EXPLOSIONS]
I'll stay.
Re: [AND THEN IT WAS TIME FOR EXPLOSIONS]
Thank you, I do always enjoy the company.
Re: [AND THEN IT WAS TIME FOR EXPLOSIONS]
I would hardly be imposing if I thought otherwise.
Re: [AND THEN IT WAS TIME FOR EXPLOSIONS]
I wonder, but still, it is nice.
Re: [AND THEN IT WAS TIME FOR EXPLOSIONS]
You wonder?
Re: [AND THEN IT WAS TIME FOR EXPLOSIONS]
You're far too .... well... Delphinus to leave something alone should you think it needs poking at.
