[So, having managed to send Xavier off on an errand for a couple of hours, Noric has used the intervening time to whip up a dinner. It's pretty difficult to make things fancy without going to the gods for extras, so instead of doing that, he's gathered up a cluster of fairy lights and put them into the vase on the table. Then set out the plates.

And now he's sitting on the couch, waiting.]

Maybe I should have gotten more of the lights...
