One of the more permanent residents of my shop was a fox, actually. We called him Ten-chan -- very young, very... crude. He had his moments.

That sounds about right. "Ten-chan"? How precious.

He insisted. An admirable free spirit, if mischievous at precisely the worst times.

I would expect nothing less from one of mine. I daresay I'm proud.

Have you any ideas yet about a place to stay?

[a place to stay...] I must admit I hadn't thought about it.

I have to admit I do enjoy your company. So, if you don't mind two roommates, you're certainly welcome to share our space... bare as it is.

[pruning]

And I yours. I would love to, if you're certain I won't be stepping on any toes...

My boys are complainers at heart, but don't let it concern you. You're certainly welcome to share my fur, since our sleeping space is a little limited. I'll try to steal more blankets from the main apartment.

Gian is the older blond and the younger is my Tiny King, Gilgamesh. I can introduce you to the rest main apartment if you wish, later on.

Oh, yes. He's... maybe thirteen. Younger. He said I would make a good whore, he's rather charming. [ Laughs! ]

Have you ever read the Epic of Gilgamesh?

He sounds like most thirteen year old boys I've met.

Ah- yes, of course.

Well, if he was anything but sincere I would have spanked him long ago.

... I don't remember the hero being quite so young.

I suppose a younger version would be accurate. There's also two others here which would be much more... spot-on, I suppose, if with some added features.

Two others- two other Gilgameshes? This is becoming confusing.

There are doubles all about, so don't be surprised when you meet someone and they don't know you the next meeting because it's not actually them.

You get used to it, I assure you. I just learn by scent at this point.

I see... Still, that is peculiar.

It seems that these gods tend not to care from what plane of existence they pull us from.

To procure so many parallels, though. Perhaps they do it on purpose.

In some small part, it does seem to grab people with common factors in their lives-- whether that be from the same world or not is bit randomized. We do have quite a few people from a place called Sabra la Tau, however.

Interesting... They must possess some favorable quality, I suppose.
