What: Attempting to move in with some of those crazy color-coded kids~

You think just because it doesn't have anybody living in it that it's empty?

That...is what empty means, yeah.

And yet there's still not enough room for a smartass and an olive farmer! Who'dathunkit?

It's not about space. It's a matter of trust. How do we know you won't come slit our throats in the night? What makes you think we won't slit your throat in the night?

Your friend just needs to learn to watch what she says to people. Consider this a lesson in why you don't try to insist your way into staying with people like this.
