Who: Anyone
When: Day 55, late morning
Where: Anywhere
What: Life in Thusia (mingle)
[So, it's still early enough to get a full day's work done, and there's much to do around the HQ.
As people know by now, Level 4 has mostly been cleared of active nature, though farther from the apartments near the stairs there are still the remains of vines and moss and dirt on the buildings and floors. Fallen trees and tangled roots still clog up the area around the buildings which must have once been shops.
Aside from the library claimed by Henrietta and perhaps few other establishments, they are doorless, and inside those abandoned buildings there is still evidence of old equipment and rotted furniture waiting to be re-purposed, broken down for offerings, or thrown out if it's beyond use.
There's not much fresh plantlife left here to collect for offerings, but plenty of cleaning to be done, perhaps in Eizon's name, in exchange for the electricity flowing through whatever fixtures people have acquired by now, or as an offering of kindness in exchange for water...
Up on the fifth level, nature stubbornly continues to prowl.]

All good points, yeah. But what about a small weapon made entirely of metal?

You don't use weapons? Just the earth itself?

Except when underwater when I can't bring rocks with me.

[Grins] I'd like to see you really cut loose with your powers sometime.

Which means we should go hunting together, yeah. You can be the tough girl, and I will be the pack mule.

Yanno the red lizagons fly.

Look how well we did on the giant croc o' doom. I'm sure we could take one of them out. Split the spoils. Get some ice cream to celebrate.

[Thinking thinking thinking]
Yanno, no offense to your skill and all, but-- why are you so proficient at kicking ass at such a young age?
no subject
Well, at first it was just because the only places I could really practice was with the badger-moles and at fighting tournaments. My parents wouldn't let my teacher teach me anything really good, so I had to learn from watching badger-moles, like the first earthbenders did. But it was pretty sweet that I could make grown earthbenders cry when I kicked their butts.
Then, about a year ago, Aang saw me fighting and asked me to teach him earthbending. So I took my act on the road, and got chased all around the world by the Fire Nation. Basically, they were trying to conquer the whole world, and it was Aang's job to stop them, since he's the Avatar and all. And, since I was his friend and earthbending teacher, that usually meant people were trying to attack me.
After we ended the war, I kept with the teaching thing. I'd do it here if I thought any of you could learn earthbending.

So this bending is a kind of innate skill then. Like magic?

But yeah.
Yeah.
