[that's because he has eyes seymour-chans.]

Oh, that sucks.

[When you lose half a face, you know.]
oblate: (That song was written in 1939)

[ This very placid gaze is the one reserved for people who have done something tactlessly offensive. Also: mild smile. ]

You are a native?

[ Now would be a wonderful time to find out if everyone else around here is equally contemptible. ]
ioudas: (yeah whatever)

[personal profile] ioudas 2012-06-10 11:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Of this place? No. I don't think anyone is a native of the afterlife.

[He shrugs.]

Unless you're the undead, but I doubt it. There wouldn't be any structural supports for your antlers.
oblate: (Here is my spout.)

[ That's worth another ten or twelve degrees of ice in his smiling. ]

I will try to repay you for your guidance.
ioudas: (smug)

Well, if you want. I just got here, but from what I get you need to purify almost everything to survive.
oblate: (I'm a little teapot)

Ah, so you are new.

[ As if that somehow resolved some critical problem.

He wonders briefly how this oaf could manage in the situation he described, but fast on that comes a very faint anxiety: that there is some skill called for here which the oaf had and which he, Seymour, perish the thought, did not. BTW all this thinking takes a few moments so he probably misses his shot at getting in any pithy quips.

Yep.

[He might act dumb, but Cross understand what's he's doing. Look like you have no skill, people won't ask you to do anything and people won't ask you to do much.]

You okay there?
oblate: (Hear me shout)

[personal profile] oblate 2012-06-11 01:59 pm (UTC)(link)
...Yes.

[ He shakes off his contemplations and determines right away that it would not do to... devalue... this meeting. Oaf Cross may be, but Seymour did not have the luxury of wasting even an oaf at this juncture. ]

And what is your occupation, here?
