I'm not a mind reader. You'd have to give me an idea or two.

How do you expect me to offer without knowing your skills?

Hmmm, well if I had to go for my two most prominent skills--

I'm a historian and a soldier. So good for odd little knowledge things and taking a whack at nature if you need something. Though my nature-whacking skills are a bit limited since I didn't get to bring my weapon of choice to Thusia with me.

A historian of what?

The history of the world I came from. Which is along the lines of countries, war, and political movements and blah blah blah. Things of that nature.

Very well. I will trade information for information.

Sure, but-- I dunno how useful the information from my world will be to you. I mean...

Are we even from the same world to begin with?

Almost certainly not.

But information is information nonetheless, and it is all of interest to me.

Then let me provide you with information that has a chance to be more interesting, yeah.

Do you know what happened to the first residents of Thusia?

I have my hypotheses given the evidence at hand.

I had story time with Dellen. It's not a very detailed story. But it's a story nonetheless.

By all means, go ahead. I am all ears.

Thusia used to be a vast civilization, yeah. With a people and culture that used to encompass the whole world. And although nature was always violent, the humans here were able to keep nature at bay.

Until one day, suddenly, the waters rose up and washed them all away. There was no warning. And from what I take it, not a lot of survivors. For if even a small group of people had survived, Dellen is sure that she would be able to sense them.

But to her knowledge, there aren't any survivors of original Thusia.

Hm. Yes, that is in line with my current hypotheses.

Is there no knowledge of why such a calamity occurred? Are there more structures out in the wild or is this the last stronghold?

Dellen knows more about the nature of well... Nature than she is willing to tell, so I can't give you an answer there.

But if the water washed only the people away, then there are probably structures like this all over the world.

It would stand to reason, yes.

Are the gods equally transplants as we are? Or were they there to remember this in person?

It sounded like a very personal account, yeah.

And they've brought us here to rebuild what was missing?

I wonder how they could have functioned for so long with no survivors. Gods I know cannot exist without faith.
