[ Right on cue, as promised last night, the pedestal disappears and instead is replaced with three screens suspended by lines of shadows stretching down from the ceiling. Each screen is labeled with a different header: INSTRUCTIONS, TASK LIST, and MATCHES. ]

[ There is also a row of sleek looking office chairs lined up by the screens, but in place of legs is a single pillar of shadow. ]

[ AS A NOTE/REMINDER, not all threads have to be completed in this post! Day 54 will continue on as normal, so feel free to play out interactions in other posts/mingles! [And up she takes him, slowing down a bit as they pass the fountain to look at it sadly.]

[glances at it, but doesn't comment taking in the buildings as they pass them]

[slows down even more as she takes him by the buildings he'd asked to see]

[making notes in the book as they pass them before nodding]

That will be fine. I think it's about time for a meal.

[turns around and takes him back downstairs and to the kitchen]

A grilled fillet mignon and wine preferably.

Uhm...since that's beef I think we may be out of luck...and alcohol isn't exactly safe...

I'm aware there are no cattle here, but any meat will do. It's the cut of it that I prefer, and the wine here is perfectly safe.

Right...

[Well she'll try to find a comparable cut of moss lion.]

But alcohol isn't safe, here or anywhere else. It's a poison and causes liver damage, impairs judgement, and makes you a danger to yourself and others.

It's something that takes maturity to appreciate properly.

My mom's old enough and she still goes batshit if she gets anywhere near it.

I am rather certain that I am in no way related to you, and reasonably certain that age does not equal maturity.

It's not about being related, it's about the fact that I've seen it go to hell. It makes people violent. It's bad.

No. Alcohol simply lowers inhibitions. If someone is naturally inclined to be violent then they become more so. If they are depressed they become more so. The drink in and of itself is simply a drink. It is neither good nor bad. It just is. It is people who corrupt and abuse a substance. The substance itself causes none of that.

Apparently so.

Alcohol is a drink that has been around for millennia, and was a favored drink through out most of that time. If alcohol was capable of actually causing people to become murderous, I'm sure it would have fallen out of favor long ago as something that induces filicide would be counter productive to the flourishing of the human race.

[Eventually she finishes and tucks her notebook back into her bag. Then she pushes the chair off to the shrine room, taking him to Kalidas' shrine to offer the art in exchange for his wine.]

[Kalidas appears in a whirl of blue flame, looking them over curiously]

Good morning my dears. I must say, this is an interesting partnership.

It's been fun. I uhm... Can you do wine?

[Becca doesn't know the difference between alcohols--it's all 'booze' to her. She digs out the notebook and carefully tears out her sketch to offer.]
